What is Lanzol?

Lansoprazole has proved effective and well tolerated in a wide range of acid-related disorders, including:

  • Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).

  • Duodenal ulcers.

  • Gastric ulcers.

  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug-related ulcers.

  • Non-ulcer dyspepsia and acid hypersecretion.

  • It is used in combination with antibiotics for H. pylori eradication.

Treatment with lansoprazole in addition to the eradication of H. pylori infection significantly reduced the rate of recurrence of ulcer complications.

Comparing unmatched groups to clarify the differential therapeutic effect of lansoprazole on dyspeptic symptoms in patients with endoscopy-proven erosive and non-erosive reflux disease.
